Doris B. Holdgreve, 97, of Delphos, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.<\/p>\n
She was born September 21, 1918, in Landeck, the daughter of Peter and Philomena (Morketter) Rahrig, who both preceded her in death. On April 15, 1943, she married Clarence \u201cSam\u201d Holdgreve, who died June 8, 1989.<\/p>\n
Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Don) Hohenbrink of Delphos and Sue (Doug) Karst of Rockford; a son, Dan (Jeanne) Holdgreve of Clayton; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Four sisters, Bertilla \u201cTilly\u201d Buettner, Jeanette \u201cNettie\u201d Fecker, Ramona Dear, and Vivian \u201cMutz\u201d Ostendorf; and two brothers, Harlan and Hubert \u201cHups\u201d Rahrig, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, October 9, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.<\/b><\/p>\n
Calling hours are from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.<\/b><\/p>\n
