Main St. in Van Wert. Effective Monday, October 26, office hours are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours will be as follows: October 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and November 1, from 1-5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Election-artwork-11-6-12.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-31091\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" title=\"MGN Online graphic\" alt=\"Election artwork 11-6-12\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Election-artwork-11-6-12.jpg\" width=\"264\" height=\"207\" \/><\/a>To vote an early ballot a person <i>must<\/i> be a registered voter and provide either the last four digits of their social security number or driver\u2019s license number (XX123456). If neither item is available, a copy of a current and valid photo identification (state ID card, government ID, etc.) may be used.<\/p>\n<p>The photo ID must show the name and address of the voter or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or other government document that shows the voter\u2019s name and current address.<\/p>\n<p>Ballots may be obtained by mailing a signed request to the office (120 E. Main St., Van Wert, OH 45891) along with date of birth, driver\u2019s license number (XX123456) or last four numbers of the individual\u2019s social security number, and an address where the ballot may be sent.
