{"id":69223,"date":"2015-10-26T20:30:11","date_gmt":"2015-10-27T01:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=69223"},"modified":"2015-10-26T20:30:11","modified_gmt":"2015-10-27T01:30:11","slug":"niswonger-pac-celebrates-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2015\/10\/26\/niswonger-pac-celebrates-kids\/","title":{"rendered":"Niswonger PAC celebrates kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cVeggie Tales Live\u201d comes to the Niswonger on November 10 for an earlier-than-normal start time of 7 p.m.\u00a0 If you are looking for an exceptional kid\u2019s show that is both entertaining and morally positive for your child or grandchild, than \u201cVeggie Tales\u201d is the show for you.<\/p>\n<p>Getting its start in 1993, this kids\u2019 show took the children\u2019s TV programming by storm!\u00a0 Who would have ever thought that a bunch of talking and singing vegetables (and we all know vegetables are good for you) with names like Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber would become one of the most popular children\u2019s shows of all time!<\/p>\n<p>Based on Bible stories and Christian morals, \u201cVeggie Tales\u201d soon became a popular TV, video, and eventually live stage show.\u00a0The stage show which we are bringing to Van Wert is inspired by a classic \u201cVeggie Tales\u201d favorite song, \u201cLittle Guys Can Do Big Things Too.\u201d\u00a0This live stage show encourages kids that even though they are small, they can be used by God to do big things.<\/p>\n<p>We are starting the show 30 minutes earlier than our normal evening shows, so hopefully you can get the \u201clittle ones\u201d back in their beds at a reasonable time while visions of cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkins, and asparagus dance in their wee little heads.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffery-Mohr Dentistry in Van Wert, as well as First Federal of Van Wert and the Decatur Daily Democrat, brings the show to you.\u00a0We thank them for bringing a positive message in a delightful show to town for young children to enjoy.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure it will be a memorable experience for those in attendance.\u00a0 Certainly, the music and message will stick with everyone for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>Because of these fine sponsors, we have been able to keep the ticket prices at an affordable rate, beginning at just $15.\u00a0You can get tickets on line at <a href=\"http:\/\/npacvw.org\/\">NPACVW.ORG<\/a> or in advance at the box office or at the door the evening of the show on November 10.\u00a0 Remember, it\u2019s a 7 p.m. start time!<\/p>\n<p>Another wonderful show involving kids is going to be held this Sunday at 3 p.m.\u00a0 Ethan Bortnick, star of two PBS specials, will be joined on stage by 100 middle school kids from Crestview and Lincolnview.\u00a0 We are so pleased to offer this performance experience to these special students from our Van Wert County schools.\u00a0They have been working on music for over two months and I\u2019m sure are primed to raise the roof with pieces like \u201cWe are the World,\u201d \u201cHappy\u201d by Pharrell Williams, \u201cWe\u2019re All Family,\u201d and \u201cLean on Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It will be a wonderful Sunday afternoon of incredible entertainment as we bring one of PBS\u2019s biggest stars to the stage of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center.\u00a0Tickets are going real fast.\u00a0Just a few remain.\u00a0I can\u2019t guarantee there will be any left at the door this Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Join the Niswonger as we help celebrate our young people with two shows even adults will enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>FIN\u00c9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cVeggie Tales Live\u201d comes to the Niswonger on November 10 for an earlier-than-normal start time of 7 p.m.\u00a0 If you are looking for an exceptional kid\u2019s show that is both entertaining and morally positive for your child or grandchild, than \u201cVeggie Tales\u201d is the show for you.
