(Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Tuesday, Nicole Fruchey\u2019s Intro to Medical Science class took a trip to Defiance Regional Hospital. The students job-shadowed different areas of the hospital and learned how to act in a hospital setting. Fruchey\u2019s class spent the whole day at the hospital with each student following one worker in their field. \u201cI job shadowed a physical therapist, and I learned what they do on an everyday basis,\u201d said Tanner Crowle.<\/p>\n<p>The students had the chance to interact and get hands-on experience in the medical field. \u201cMy experience was good. I learned how you need to keep your cool in very complicated situations,\u201d said Luke Gerardot.<\/p>\n<p>The class had the chance to ask their supervisors some questions and got to really decide if this is the field they want to go in to. Junior Lance Camp said, \u201cI took away some very important information from this trip like how it is very important to be careful in the ICU because anything could happen.\u201d The class will continue to learn more about the health careers and human body systems as the year goes on.<\/p>\n<p>In other news as the Knights began to wrap up the fall as they head into their winter days, the students will be having a Thanksgiving break next week along with parent teacher conferences.
