Williams has been selected the 2015 \u201cTrooper of the Year\u201d at the Van Wert Post.<\/p>\n<p>The selection of Trooper Williams, 34, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2015. Fellow officers assigned at the Van Wert Post chose him based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70325\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70325\" style=\"width: 153px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70325 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Disp. Clayton Williams<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trooper Williams joined the Patrol in 2007 as a member of the 148th academy class. Originally from Celina and a graduate of Parkway High School, he served in the United States Marine Corps.<\/p>\n<p>Trooper Williams has been awarded the patrol\u2019s physical fitness award and the safe driving award.\u00a0 He also serves on the patrol\u2019s mobile field force. He and his family reside in Mercer County.<\/p>\n<p>Radio Dispatcher Chad A. Recker has been selected the 2015 \u201cDispatcher of the Year\u201d at the Van Wert Dispatch Center. Recker joined the Patrol in 2014 and is assigned to the Van Wert Dispatch Center.\u00a0 He is a graduate of Fort Jennings High School.<\/p>\n<p>Dispatcher Recker, 20, was honored in recognition of his outstanding service over the past year.\u00a0 Supervision and dispatchers chose him based on his technical job knowledge and ability, enthusiastic work attitude, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public\u2019s request for information and assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Dispatcher Recker resides in Fort Jennings.<\/p>\n<p>Both Trooper Williams and Dispatcher Recker are in contention for district and state honors as \u201cTrooper of the Year\u201d and \u201cDispatcher of the Year\u201d.\u00a0 Those honors will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ohio State Highway Patrol information Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Clayton A.
