The Lincolnview Lady Lancers shot about as well as Kalida during their non-conference game on Tuesday, they just didn\u2019t get as many opportunities in losing to the Wildcats 55-23.<\/p>\n

The difference was rebounding and turnovers, with Kalida outrebounding the Lancer girls 31-14, while Lincolnview also had 22 more turnovers (25-3) in the game.<\/p>\n

The difference showed up immediately, as the Lady Wildcats took a 12-point lead, 17-5, in the first quarter and increased the lead to 19 points (30-11) at the half.<\/p>\n

The third quarter was more even, but Kalida still added four points to its lead, 44-21, while outscoring the Lancers 11-2 to complete the 32-point victory.<\/p>\n

Lincolnview was 10 of 26 from the field (38 percent), including 2 of 3 from three-point range (66.7 percent). The Lancers made 1 of 2 free throw attempts (50 percent).<\/p>\n

The Lady Wildcats were 22 of 54 from the field (40 percent), while making 7 of 26 three-point attempts (26 percent). Kalida was 4 of 6 from the free throw line (66.7 percent).<\/p>\n

The rebounding difference was crucial, since the Wildcats scored 29 second-chance points, versus none for Lincolnview.<\/p>\n

Kalida had two players in double figures, with Kylie Osterhage leading with way with 17 points. Allison Recker added 12 points for the Wildcats, while Kara Siefker added 9 for Kalida.<\/p>\n
