Easley, earning a time of 56.48, beat the school record with his finish in the 100-yard butterfly race.\u00a0\u00a0 Scoring for the Cougar girls were Madison Turnwald in the 200-yard freestyle, Katie Trittschuh in the 200-yard freestyle, Peyton Fleming in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke, Jena Rex-LaRue in the 500-yard freestyle, Emma Verville in the 200-yard backstroke, and Bethany Fast in the 100-yard breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p>All three boys\u2019 \u201cA\u201d relay teams scored. The best finishes were the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:58.56 \u2013 Noah Arend, Cory Pinson, Cade Fleming, Sam Easley) earning seventh place and a eighth-place finish by the 200-yard medley relay (1:57.30 \u2013 Dalton Heppeard, Fleming, Easley, Pinson), followed with the 200-yard freestyle relay earning a ninth place finish (1:47.39 \u2013 Stephen Hamblett, Pinson, Heppeard, Easley).<\/p>\n<p>Two girls\u2019 \u201cA\u201d relay teams scored. The best finish was recorded by the 400-yard freestyle relay with Chloe Brake, Peyton Fleming, Madison Turnwald, Bethany Fast claiming 10th place.
