(photo submitted)\" width=\"250\" height=\"237\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73065\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Kathy Hemmelgarn, Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund trustee, donates $500 to Keith Allen, chief deputy of Van Wert County DARE, for supplies and prizes for DARE events.<\/strong> <em>(photo submitted)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>CALL Food Ministries, Celina &#8212; $5,000 to buy refrigeration units for food storage.<\/li>\n<li>St. Henry EMS &#8212; $5,000 to help purchase a generator for the new EMS building.<\/li>\n<li>New Bremen German Township Fire Department &#8212; $1,500 to buy iPad tablets for use in emergency vehicles to work with the Active 9-1-1 app that helps facilitate emergency response.<\/li>\n<li>Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys &#8212; $1,500 to help support the music therapy program for hospice care.<\/li>\n<li>Celina Baseball Association &#8212; $750 to purchase bats and balls for the ACME baseball program.<\/li>\n<li>Family Life Center of Auglaize County &#8212; $675 to buy car seats for the Young Parent program.<\/li>\n<li>Van Wert County DARE &#8212; $500 for supplies and prizes for DARE events.<\/li>\n<li>Delphos Public Library &#8212; $300 to buy cake pans for the cake pan check-out collection.<\/li>\n<li>Otterbein St. Marys &#8212; $250 to buy materials for residents to make blankets that are given to foster children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund is a voluntary charitable program.
