Winter Run Club members have been meeting since November for workouts and long runs in preparation for the culminating half-marathon challenge.\u00a0Those participating were Cade Chiles, Nicole Clay, Chloee Gamble, Ali Gemmer, Max Sealscott, Julia Springer, Callahan Wolfrum, and Sam Wolfrum.\u00a0The young runners are in grades 7-12 and participate in cross country at Lincolnview and Van Wert.\u00a0Special thanks to Erik McCracken at Lee Kinstle GM Sales &amp; Service for his generous donation of a 12-passenger van for the trip.<\/strong> <em>(photo submitted)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eight local athletes traveled to New York City this past weekend to participate in the NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon.
