{"id":74030,"date":"2016-03-04T08:39:42","date_gmt":"2016-03-04T13:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=74030"},"modified":"2016-03-04T08:39:42","modified_gmt":"2016-03-04T13:39:42","slug":"public-hearing-set-for-wind-farm-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2016\/03\/04\/public-hearing-set-for-wind-farm-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Public hearing set for wind farm projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>COLUMBUS &#8212; The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) will hold a public hearing to provide area residents an opportunity to testify about Paulding Wind Farm III\u2019s proposal to construct a 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line and associated switchyard in Benton and Harrison townships in Paulding County.<\/p>\n<p>The 8-mile long transmission line would\u00a0connect the Timber Road I and III wind farms to American Electric Power\u2019s 138 kV Lincoln-Sterling transmission circuit.<\/p>\n<p>The public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, at Wayne Trace Junior-Senior High School, 4915 U.S. 127 in Haviland.<\/p>\n<p>The adjudicatory hearing in the case will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, hearing room 11-D, 180 E.
