Registration fees are $15 for family members, $25 for youth members, and $70 for potential members, with a late fee of $10 for all who register after April 2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Y provides the most up-to-date American Red Cross approved swimming and water safety program,\u201d stated Martha Martin, Van Wert <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-74053\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/YMCA-swimming-artwork.jpg\" alt=\"YMCA swimming artwork\" width=\"195\" height=\"176\" \/>YMCA aquatic director. \u201cIt keeps a fun atmosphere, while combining the best in swim instruction with an even stronger emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety &#8212; ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the water safely, regardless of age or skill level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All YMCA classes are taught by\u00a0Red Cross certified instructors, with\u00a0over 120 years of combined aquatic instruction experience.<\/p>\n<p>For help placing a child in the appropriate class, contact the Y at 419.238.0443, check out a complete schedule of classes on the YMCA website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vwymca.org\">www.vwymca.org<\/a>, or email Martin at <a href=\"mailto:Martha@vwymca.org\">Martha@vwymca.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This spring swim session will run from April 4 through May 28.<\/p>\n<p>One may register online at the above website, at the front desk of the Y or by calling 419.238.0443.
