On December 4, 1976, he married Carolyn Calista (Miller) Wiseman, who survives.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6483\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/American-Flag-artwork-for-obits-4-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"75\" \/>Other survivors include a daughter, Lori (Dan) Freund; one son, Jason (Jackie) Wiseman; four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.<\/p>\n<p>A daughter, Deborah Lynn; one son, David Lee Wiseman; and a brother, Larry Wiseman, also preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Philip Zielinski officiating.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preferred memorials: Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert or the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center, c\/o Community Health Professionals, 1159 Westwood Drive, Van Wert, OH 45891.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alspachgearhart.com\">www.alspachgearhart.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert Lee Wiseman, 71, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
