(photo submitted)\" width=\"350\" height=\"280\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-74286\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Randy Myers and Krista Schlemmer of Leland Smith Insurance pose with Dan Morris and Dennis Hickey of Hickey-Morris Insurance.<\/strong> (<em>photo submitted)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Leland Smith Insurance Services, serving the community for over 31 years from offices in Van Wert, Paulding, Antwerp, Convoy, and Ottoville, is merging with Hickey Morris Insurance, established in 1959 by Cletus Hickey.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy partner Dan Morris and I are excited about our new partnership with the Leland Smith agency,\u201d said Hickey Morris Insurance President Dennis Hickey. \u201cThis relationship will allow us to expand the companies we can represent for home, auto, life, and business customers, and it means we can continue to provide the kind of one-on-one service that we feel has set our agency apart for more than five decades.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Randy Myers, president of Leland Smith, is also looking forward to the partnership. \u201cBoth agencies are very similar in the kind of commitment to community support and sponsorships of area youth activities. Our philosophies make us a natural fit to work together,\u201d Myers said.<\/p>\n<p>Under terms of the merger, effective March 1, Hickey Morris Insurance offices will remain on East Second Street.
