Van Wert High School sent two teams of students who competed with other high schools from Area 1 in the subjects of forestry, wildlife, soils, aquatics and\u00a0invasive species (current issue). The teams placed 14th and 28th out of 58 teams. Members of the teams were Cade Fleming, Joe Linser, Grace Lare, Domonique Grothause, Drew Myers, Natalie Riethman, Ali Moreland, Megan Spray, Katie Wiley, and Cassidy\u00a0Sinning.
