{"id":76344,"date":"2016-05-17T07:50:42","date_gmt":"2016-05-17T12:50:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=76344"},"modified":"2016-05-17T07:50:42","modified_gmt":"2016-05-17T12:50:42","slug":"vwhs-schedules-semester-exam-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2016\/05\/17\/vwhs-schedules-semester-exam-times\/","title":{"rendered":"VWHS schedules semester exam times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Van Wert High School has scheduled semester examinations for this Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n<p>All students are required to take an examination unless the course does not offer one (principal excused), or the student has been granted permission to exempt through the Renaissance program.<\/p>\n<p>Students who do not show up for examinations will receive a zero on the examination and fail the entire course, even if their other coursework is equivalent to a passing grade.<\/p>\n<p>Students who are absent from exams must follow all VWHS attendance policies and procedures, while all make-up exams will occur according to attendance policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The examination is schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, May 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First exam session (first period classes) \u2013 8-9:20 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Second exam session (second period classes) \u2013 9:30-10:50 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Open lunch \u2013 10:50-11:50 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Third exam session (third period classes) \u2013 11:50 a.m.-1:10 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Fourth exam session (fourth period classes) \u2013 1:20-2:40 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Staff team time \u2013 2:40-3:10 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday, May 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First exam session (fifth period classes) \u2013 8-9:20 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Second exam session (sixth period classes) \u2013 9:30-10:50 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Open lunch \u2013 10:50-11:50 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Third exam session (seventh period classes) \u2013 11:50 a.m.-1:10 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Make-up testing\/staff grading\/meetings \u2013 1:20-2:40 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Staff team time (retirement recognition) \u2013 2:40-3 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent\/submitted information Van Wert High School has scheduled semester examinations for this Thursday and Friday.
