H.R. 2646 improves mental health care coordination across the federal government and enhances communication among providers, families, and patients to ensure the best possible treatment for those living with mental illness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been far too long since we\u2019ve made meaningful reforms aimed at helping people living with mental illness and their families,\u201d\u00a0said Latta.\u00a0\u201cThis legislation provides solutions for patients by filling gaps in the current mental health system and removing federal barriers to care.
