Wendel.\u00a0The county bridge crew replaced a deteriorated steel beam superstructure with county manufactured reinforced concrete beams.\u00a0A reinforced concrete composite deck was also added for additional strength.\u00a0The existing abutments were re-used for the project.\u00a0Shelly Company of Findlay performed approach paving. County crews will now be closing and replacing a structure on John Yoh Road, just south of the Convoy road intersection in Hoaglin Township, on Monday, May 16 (existing bridge shown below). Duration of the project will be around six weeks, depending on weather conditions.\u00a0The existing steel beam structure will be entirely rebuilt from the ground up with reinforced abutments, as well as reinforced concrete beams made by the county.
