Ray Haas, commander of the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, got a surprise early Sunday morning when he awoke to find his pickup truck engulfed in flames. Van Wert firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, but not before the pickup was a total loss.
