Registration for the upcoming summer swim session at the YMCA of Van Wert County will begin Tuesday, May 31-June 7 for Y members and June 8-11 for potential members.\u00a0 This will be a three-week, two days per week session, running June 13-30.\u00a0 Registration fees for this special session are $11 for family members, $20 for youth members and $45 for potential members.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Y provides the most up-to-date American Red Cross approved swimming and water safety program,\u201d stated Martha Martin, Van Wert YMCA aquatic director. \u201cIt keeps a fun atmosphere, while combining the best in swim instruction with an even stronger emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety — ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the water safely, regardless of age or skill level.\u201d<\/p>\n
All YMCA classes are taught by\u00a0Red Cross Certified Instructors with\u00a0a total of more than 120 years of combined aquatic instruction experience.<\/p>\n
