The Relay for Life is a program devoted to raising money for the American Cancer Society. Students can donate $5 to this cause to walk or run around the track for the afternoon. Students can sign up as a team to see which team can get the highest total laps around the track. This second annual event will take place Tuesday, May 31. Crestview hopes to see an awesome turnout for this event in which all of the proceeds go towards a great cause.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8108\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8108\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8108 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/5-18-11-knights-in-the-news.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8108\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Students line up for the always-messy egg toss at the annual Fun Day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Monday Crestview students enjoyed their annual Fun Day, the one day of the year where students can relax and enjoy some outdoor activities while still in school. Some of the events held were an obstacle course, water balloon toss, egg toss, tug-of-war, watermelon eating contest, and the human pyramid. Each grade competed against each other for bragging rights.
