(photo submitted)\" width=\"350\" height=\"283\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81393\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Erin Miller helps youngsters\u00a0with crafts during parent-teacher conferences.<\/strong> <em>(photo submitted)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>About 30 students attended and many parents were delighted to drop off their children at the Bible House on their way to conferences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was such a great thing to do for us,\u201d said Nicole Benson, \u201cIt helped me focus on the conferences without worrying about what my kids were doing in the hallway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several other parents echoed their gratitude when picking up their children.<\/p>\n<p>Lincolnview Beta Club students assisted with crafts, coloring, and playing games while the children waited for parents to return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Beta Club students were a huge help in making this venture successful,\u201d said Miller.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a lot of fun working with the students outside of class time,\u201d Mongold added. \u201cI think we will make this an annual event.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Submitted information Lincolnview parents attending conferences with their children\u2019s teachers had a new option for child care this year.
