That\u2019s the equivalent to 281 trips around the Earth.<\/p>\n<p>ODOT has more than 1,800 snow plow trucks and 3,000 operators that clear snow and ice from 43,000 miles of state, U.S. and interstate routes.<\/p>\n<p>New this winter, motorists can download ODOT\u2019s free mobile app \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dot.state.oh.us\/pages\/ohgoapp.aspx\">OHGO<\/a> \u2013 which features winter road conditions and personalized traffic alerts with hands-free voice on the go. The app is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/ohgo\/id1034284575?mt=8\">App Store<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.odot.ohgo&amp;hl=en\">Google Play<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last winter, 35 vehicles struck ODOT snow plow trucks as a result of following too closely.
