{"id":82200,"date":"2016-11-28T08:45:19","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T13:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=82200"},"modified":"2016-11-28T08:45:19","modified_gmt":"2016-11-28T13:45:19","slug":"dirham-new-ym-wellness-team-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2016\/11\/28\/dirham-new-ym-wellness-team-member\/","title":{"rendered":"Dirham new YM wellness team member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The YMCA of Van Wert County announces the addition of John Dirham to the YMCA Wellness Team.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82201\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82201\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-82201\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/John-Dirham-headshot-11-2016.jpg\" alt=\"John Dirham\" width=\"250\" height=\"324\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-82201\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>John Dirham<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dirham is excited to bring his passion for fitness and mixed martial arts to help his training clients achieve their personal fitness goals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJohn brings his experience with mixed martial arts to the YMCA,\u201d said Membership Director Kristin Lichtensteiger. \u201cHe will provide his clients with a new, exciting opportunity for personal training.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis vast martial arts knowledge provides his clients a unique training experience with great results,\u201d she added. \u201cHis enthusiastic personality makes him a great fit for working with members individually or in group training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dirham has 10 years of MMA training and is currently ranked 29th worldwide in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has traveled the U.S. competing and training with top UFC fighters, including the highly regarded \u201cTeam Alpha Male\u201d in California. He currently teaches Power Strike, an intense, non-stop cardio workout incorporating jabs, cross, hooks and abdominal work.<\/p>\n<p>All YMCA fitness classes are included free of charge with a membership.
