Beard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Margaret M. \u201cPeg\u201d Beard, 78, of Convoy, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>She was born July 11, 1932, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Berl and Mary Esther (Caris) Dunlap. She married Carl William Beard, who preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two children, Penny (Mark) Clark of Convoy and John Nutt of New Jersey; a stepdaughter, Sandy (Jack) Hoersten of Van Wert; a brother, Glen (Bonnie) Dunlap of Van Wert; one sister, Janet (Dave) Myers of Van Wert; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Two stepdaughters, Pamela Flanigan and Vickie Jackson; and a grandchild, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Gearhart, Mack &amp; Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy.
