{"id":83428,"date":"2017-01-15T14:00:57","date_gmt":"2017-01-15T19:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=83428"},"modified":"2017-01-15T14:00:57","modified_gmt":"2017-01-15T19:00:57","slug":"alfred-r-al-foust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2017\/01\/15\/alfred-r-al-foust\/","title":{"rendered":"Alfred R. &#8216;Al&#8217; Foust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred R. \u201cAl\u201d Foust, 67, of Payne, passed away at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8711\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" alt=\"American Flag for obituaries 6-2011\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/>He was born September 9, 1949, in Van Wert, the son of Bruce Foust, who preceded him in death, and Frieda O. (Balliet) Foust, who survives.<\/p>\n<p>Other survivors include two stepchildren, Mick (Laura) Proxmire and Bill (Kim) Proxmire, both of Columbus; and five grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mohr Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be no visitation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preferred memorials: Donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements are being handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences may be expressed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alspachgearhart.com\">www.alspachgearhart.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred R. \u201cAl\u201d Foust, 67, of Payne, passed away at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
