The service is being conducted by American Legion Post 178, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and 40 et 8 chapter 154, all in Van Wert, and Amvets Post 698 in Middle Point.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker for the service will be Bryan Zercler, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>Following the ceremony in Woodland Cemetery, a brief wreath-laying service will be held in Memorial Park on West Main Street.<\/p>\n<p>A free luncheon will be held at Legion Post 178, adjacent to the park, following that service for veterans and their guests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent\/contributor content Memorial Day activities have been planned at two Van Wert sites on Monday, May 30.
