{"id":84091,"date":"2017-02-05T19:08:04","date_gmt":"2017-02-06T00:08:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=84091"},"modified":"2017-02-10T07:50:26","modified_gmt":"2017-02-10T12:50:26","slug":"barbara-jean-presar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2017\/02\/05\/barbara-jean-presar\/","title":{"rendered":"Barbara Jean Presar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barbara Jean Presar, 85, of Van Wert, passed away at 12:08 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_84092\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-84092\" style=\"width: 275px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-84092\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Barbara-Presar-obit-photo-2-2017.jpg\" alt=\"Barbara Jean Presar\" width=\"275\" height=\"355\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-84092\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Barbara Jean Presar<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She was born June 22, 1931, in Antwerp, the daughter of Clarence L. and Rena (Tracy) Quisno, who both preceded her in death. She married Howard Presar, who also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Tony) Steinmetz of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Julie Quinn of Chico, California; a son-in-law, Earl E. \u201cJR\u201d Ebel of Convoy; four\u00a0grandchildren, Nikki Ebel, Erick Ebel, Patrick Quinn, and Georgina Quinn; and three great-grandchildren, Jordon Streeter, Travis Swartzfager, and Chanse Ebel; and three great-great-grandchildren, Landyn, Logan, and Sierra.<\/p>\n<p>A daughter, Cathy S. Ebel; and one sister, Ruth Snyder, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, February 9, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Hal Shafer officiating.
