{"id":85562,"date":"2017-03-24T07:45:04","date_gmt":"2017-03-24T12:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=85562"},"modified":"2017-03-24T07:45:21","modified_gmt":"2017-03-24T12:45:21","slug":"postal-museum-to-unveil-new-exhbits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2017\/03\/24\/postal-museum-to-unveil-new-exhbits\/","title":{"rendered":"Postal Museum to unveil new exhbits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>DELPHOS &#8212; The Museum of Postal History in Delphos announces the unveiling of its newest exhibits: The Philatelic Aspects of the Holocaust and World War II, at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 23, to coincide with Holocaust Remembrance Day.<\/p>\n<p>A brief ceremony will include a dedication by Rabbi<em>\u00a0<\/em>Yossi Zylberberg, the son of Holocaust survivors who serves as rabbi of Temple Beth Israel Shaare Zedek in Lima.<\/p>\n<p>Additional activities will honor mural artist Diane Bendele; Dr. and Mrs. Wells, who provided the \u201cDear Cousin\u201d exhibit; the Cohen Foundation; the Dienstberger Foundation; and the Allen County Convention and Visitors\u2019 Bureau, which assisted with funding for the exhibit.<\/p>\n<p>Rabbi Zylberberg will also lead a \u201cHolocaust remembrance\u201d Sabbath service at 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, at the temple, corner of Lakewood and Glenwood in Lima.
