The Elizabeth Freck Teaching Scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to Courtney Gehres, daughter of Glenn and Chelle Gehres. The Aaron and Francile Sutton Scholarships of $500 each went to Jessica Burger, daughter of Ray and Rochelle Burger and Caitlin Hancock, daughter of Eric and Danille Hancock. Christina Holdgreve, daughter of Don and Lynnette Holdgreve received the $500 Convoy Community Foundation Community Service Award. The Ed Hurless Above and Beyond $250 Award was presented to Sammi Schneider, daughter of Jim and Julie Schneider. The Convoy Community Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization founded in 1979 to promote and undertake charitable activities for the benefit of individuals and communities in the Crestview community. Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has sponsored health care and housing facilities, classroom projects, community libraries, student scholarships, youth groups and local parks. The public is encouraged to look into the Foundation\u2019s Memorial Endowment Fund as a way of leaving a legacy to the people and communities of the Crestview School District.
