(Elks photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lichtensteiger is a member of Boy Scout Troop 31, sponsored by First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, and is the son of Janice and David Lichtensteiger.<\/p>\n<p>Lichtensteiger\u2019s Eagle Scout project was to make the nature trails at Halls Woods in Convoy more user-friendly to students and community.<\/p>\n<p>The major part of the project was planning and executing the building of a wooden handicap-accessible boardwalk. Lichtensteiger also placed identification markers by various trees and placed stone on the paths for easier hiking.<\/p>\n<p>Lichtensteiger was presented an American flag and an Eagle Scout certificate from the Elks.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the Van Wert Lodge at the ceremony were Exalted Ruler Keith S. Rydell and Past State President Michael C.
