Kennedy III (right) recently donated $2,000 from the Furtherance of Justice Fund to Van Wert County Victims Services Inc. to help the non-profit agency continue its mission to service victims of crime in the community. Victims Services works with the prosecutor\u2019s office on a daily basis, notifying victims of the state of their cases, and of necessary court appearances, as well as with Victim Impact Statements. Victims Services staff also accompany victims to court to make their wishes known to the court and prosecutors. Van Wert County Victims Services Inc. is not a government agency and operates solely through grants and donations. Shown receiving the check is Victims Services Director Michael Kirkendall.
