Nowak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Christopher T. \u201cChris\u201d Nowak, 34, of rural Convoy, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 18, 2017.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_95666\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-95666\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-95666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Christopher-Nowak-obit-photo-11-2017.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"235\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-95666\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Christopher T. Nowak<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He was born February 5, 1983, in Decatur, Indiana, a son of Thomas E. and Darlene S. (Stevens) Nowak, who both survive.<\/p>\n<p>Other survivors include a son, Landon T. Nowak; one daughter, Shay Marie Nowak; and a number of aunts and uncles: Sue (Chester) Fox, Mark (Christina) Nowak, Marie (Craig) Duff, Sharon Stevens, Kate (Al) Pardon, Dan (Deb) Stevens, Bruce (Gaythel) Davis, Linda (Al) Zimmerman, Shelia (Ken) Johnson, and Ed (Vickie) Stevens.<\/p>\n<p>Chris was employed as a welder at Crown Equipment Corporation in Celina.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Private services will be conducted at a later date.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 26, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Condolences may be expressed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bricknerfuneralhome.com\">www.bricknerfuneralhome.com<\/a> or emailed to <a href=\"mailto:bricknerfuneralhome@bright.net\">bricknerfuneralhome@bright.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christopher T. \u201cChris\u201d Nowak, 34, of rural Convoy, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
