The freshman bowled games of 234 and 212 during Saturday\u2019s win over Celina. \u201cLorrie works hard and enjoys the sport,\u201d coach Kevin Decker said. \u201cShe works harder and enjoys the sport more when she is bowling with her Lady Cougar teammates.\u201d Coaches and athletic directors may nominate student athletes for the weekly award by e-mailing <a href=\"mailto:sports@thevwindependent.com\">sports@thevwindependent.com<\/a>.
