Below are brief recaps from each of their games.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ottawa-Glandorf 68 Van Wert 43<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Lady Titans (12-1, 4-0 WBL, No. 3 in Division III) defeated the Lady Cougars 68-43 at Van Wert High School on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Ottawa\u2013Glandorf led 15-8 after one quarter and 38-22 at halftime. The lead was extended to 48-27 after three quarters of play.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Metz hit four treys and finished with 12 points for Van Wert, while Reagan Priest finished with nine.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Titans had 10 players score and were led by Ashley Schroeder and Kadie Hempfling, who each finished with 14 points.<\/p>\n<p>Van Wert (2-10, 0-4 WBL) is scheduled to host Lincolnview on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Bluffton 45 Lincolnview 37<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Conference-leading Bluffton topped the visiting Lady Lancers 45-37 on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The third quarter was the difference, as the Lady Pirates (10-3, 4-0 NWC) outscored Lincolnview 9-2 and led by 10 at the end of the period. The Lady Lancers were able to trim the deficit to four in the final period, but could get no closer.<\/p>\n<p>Lakin Brant and Kayla Schimmoeller each scored 10 points for Lincolnview (5-7, 0-3 NWC).<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Lancers will play at Van Wert on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Delphos Jefferson 52 Lincolnview 49<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Lady Wildcats rallied from a seven point halftime deficit, then used late free throws to defeat Crestview 52-49 on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Knights (6-5, 2-2 NWC) jumped out to a 14-7 first quarter lead, then enjoyed a 28-21 advantage at halftime. Delphos Jefferson (10-3, 3-0 NWC) outscored Crestview 11-6 in the third quarter and trailed by just two, 34-32, entering the final period.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Miller hit a foul shot with less than 20 seconds left to break a 49-49 tie, then Macy Wallace hit two more with 1.6 seconds left to secure the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Delphos Jefferson\u2019s Alli McClung led all scorers with 12 points, while Crestview\u2019s Lexi Gregory finished with 11.<\/p>\n<p>Crestview will travel to Coldwater on Tuesday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent sports Thursday night was a rough one for girls&#8217; basketball teams from Van Wert, Lincolnview and Crestview.
