Players will travel to 12 Van Wert locations to play one hole of Putt Putt Golf at each location. The cost is $80 per team.<\/p>\n<p>Participating businesses and organizations this year are Van Wert Elks Lodge 1197, American Legion Post 178, Fricker\u2019s, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, Sears, Van Wert Bedrooms, Lee Kinstle GM Sales &amp; Service, Eickholt Farms, Lee\u2019s Ace Hardware, YMCA of Van Wert County, Leland Smith Insurance, and Van Wert Moose Lodge 1320.<\/p>\n<p>Teams may sign up at any of the participating locations before Januay 26 or at the Elks Lodge the day of the event. Play will begin and end at the Elks lodge off Van Wert-Decatur Road. In addition, American Legion Post 178 will be serving breakfast, starting at 8 a.m. that day.<\/p>\n<p>Holes can be played in any order, any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each location creates its own hole and anything goes. Golfers vote for their favorite hole and the winner receives a traveling trophy.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds stay local and benefit the community of Van Wert.
