Deputies were dispatched to 115 N. First St. in Oakwood at 4:52 p.m. Friday on a report of a suicidal man with a gun to his head.<\/p>\n
Deputy Sheriff Jared Renollet arrived on scene approximately five minutes after being dispatched and encountered Ray J. Osborn, 47, of Continental, in a truck with a woman standing by the passenger door. Osborn exited the vehicle and had a pistol to his head.<\/p>\n
<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-53457\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Paulding-Sheriff-Jason-Landers-7-2014.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"268\" \/>
Sheriff Jason K.
