Lincolnview High School basketball player Caden Ringwald is this week\u2019s Van Wert independent\/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week. The senior guard is averaging 16.1 points per game for the Lancers. <\/strong>\u201cCaden is a special young man that gives his best effort in anything he does on or off the court,\u201d Lincolnview head coach Brett Hammons said. \u201cIt is great to see the growth he has made in both areas.\u201d Coaches and athletic directors may nominate student athletes for the weekly award by e-mailing sports@thevwindependent.com<\/a>.
