Sandlin, 89, of Elida, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at her residence.<\/p>\n<p>She was born January 12, 1929, in Gomer, the daughter of Rudy and Emma (Moore) Brunk, who both preceded her in death. She married Hubert Sandlin, who died June 16, 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two sons, James (Cindy) Sandlin of Lima and Doug (Darlene) Sandlin of Elida; a daughter-in-law, Cherie Sandlin; two brothers, Glen (Melinda) Brunk of Indiana and Rolland (Edna) Brunk of West Virginia; two sisters, Wanda (John) Zimmerly and Marjorie (Paul) Shenk of Elida; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>A son, Dennis Sandlin; and a great-granddaughter, Jazmin Sandlin, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 24, at Sharon Mennonite Church in Elida. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Visitation is from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 23, and an hour prior to services Saturday, all at the church. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preferred memorials: St. Rita\u2019s Hospice.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences may be expressed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harterandschier.com\">www.harterandschier.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Waneta R.
