Baker joins Keister law firm

Local attorney Stephen Keister is pleased to announce that Aaron Baker has joined his legal practice. Baker graduated with distinction from Pettit College of Law, Ohio Northern University and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science/pre-law and history from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. He also graduated from Crestview High School.

On November 8, he was sworn in as an attorney by the Ohio Supreme Court at the historic Ohio Theatre in Columbus.

Baker is the son of Darle and Linda Baker of rural Ohio City and the brother of Joel (Amy) Baker of Elida and Seth Baker of Van Wert.  Growing up on a farm, Aaron was active in 4-H and the Van Wert County Junior Fair Board.  During his time at Indiana Wesleyan, Aaron interned for Congressman Mike Pence of Indiana in Washington, D.C., was a member of the John Wesley Honors College and served as Student Government President.

During law school, Baker served as the Ohio Review editor on the Ohio Northern Law Review and interned for U.S. District Judge William C. Lee, who serves the Northern District of Indiana.

Baker will now focus on further developing an agricultural law and estate planning practice, together with practicing real estate, business and general family law.
