News from Lancerland

On Tuesday April 4 at 8 p.m. in the lecture hall there will be a Dual Enrollment meeting for students interested in taking classes through Wright State University and the University of Findlay at Lincolnview High School.  Greg Schumm will be here to discuss the program.

Relay for Life week is next week.  The entire school will be raising funds to help the American Cancer Society find a cure for cancer.  Watch for information coming home with information on ways that you can help our efforts.  If you ordered a mini-relay t-shirt it will be coming home this week.

For anyone who has not purchased a 2010-2011 yearbook, you have until April 18 to place your order. They are $45 and checks may be made payable to Lincolnview Schools. There will be only a few extra copies available on a first come, first serve basis at the beginning of next year.
First grade students will have their Spring program on Thursday, April 7 in the elementary gym. This year’s program is titled “Go Fish” and looks to be an entertaining evening of ocean fun. The show will begin at 7 p.m.
The 2011 edition of the Lancer Softball Team swung into action on Tuesday as they took on the Flyers of Marion Local.  On Wednesday, the Lady Cougars from Van Wert invaded the diamond at the Lancer Athletic Complex at 4:30 p.m..  The Varsity will then compete against Pandora Gilboa in a double header starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
