Van Wert Police

April 9, 11:44 p.m. — Diana K. Sill, 37, of Rockford, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Central Avenue.

April 10, 2:54 a.m. — Teresa H. Kerns, 42, of 945 Woodland Ave., was charged with OVI after police were called to the intersection of Shannon and Maple streets on a report of a car stuck on a stone pile in the street construction area.

April 8, 2:27 p.m. — An employee of the Van Wert County Job and Family Services Department reported being assaulted by a client. No charges were filed.
