Van Wert Police
April 12, 10:46 p.m. — Adam C. Grogg, 20, of 227 N. Cherry St., was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred at his residence.
April 13, 2:50 a.m. — Anthony M. Pavlides, 29, of Prospect, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Delaware County after police were called to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites on a report of a suspicious person at the hotel.
April 12, 3:30 p.m. — Kelly R. Hooks, 31 of Celina, was arrested for domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred at 1055 Westchester Court.
April 9, 4:14 a.m. — Robert Vibbert was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Putnam County for passing forged documents when police investigated a noise complaint at 710 Woodland Ave.
April 9, 6:34 p.m. — A Van Wert resident reported that a gray vehicle pulled up beside his 7-year-old son near the intersection of Jefferson Street and Maple Avenue and a passenger in the vehicle, described as a teenage boy with short brown hair, tried to get the youngster into the car by offering him candy. Police are investigating the incident.
April 8, 8:25 a.m. — Candace L. Greiner, 32, of 109 W. Central Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Williams County on a charge of insufficient funds.
April 11, 9:18 p.m. — A Van Wert woman reported the theft of a black Acer netbook with a 7-inch screen that is cracked, that is also missing some keys, from her residence.
April 11, 7:58 a.m. — A break-in was reported at Juan Recuerdos restaurant, 212 E. Main St. Taken was a cash register and a guitar with Mexican flag decoration.
