Van Wert Police
April 23, 1:26 p.m. — A woman in the 600 block of Woodland Avenue reported that a tire on her vehicle was cut while it was parked at her residence.
April 22, 11:04 p.m. — A burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Washington Street.
April 24, 2:26 p.m. — A resident of the 800 block of West Main Street reported criminal damage to her vehicle.
April 23, 1:58 p.m. — A resident of the 300 block of North Washington Street reported two tires were cut on her vehicle while it was parked at her home.
April 23, 7:04 a.m. — A resident of the 400 block of East Sycamore Street reported the theft of keys from a vehicle at that residence.
April 22, 7:21 a.m. — A male was reported hallucinating at a residence in the 200 block of South Fulton Street after ingesting “bath salts.” He was taken to Van Wert County Hospital for treatment.
April 23, 12:36 p.m. — A window pane was reported broken out at the a residence in the 100 block of East First Street.
April 21, 3:20 p.m. — Abagail Baumle, 19, of Paulding, was charged in connection with the theft of gasoline at Murphy’s USA on Town Center Blvd.
April 24, 1:21 a.m. — Kevin Keirns, 23, of Ohio City, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) after he nearly caused an accident in the 800 block of Fox Road by accelerating too rapidly and causing a tire on his vehicle to blow out.
April 22, 11:33 a.m. — Brittany M. Moore, 20, of Delphos, was arrested on charges of reckless operation, failure to obey a lawful order, underage consumption and driving a vehicle while consuming alcohol underage.
April 23, 7:13 a.m. — Kody N. Detwiler, 21, of 320 N. Franklin St., was arrested for receiving stolen property in connection with the theft of property from a residence in the 200 block of East Sycamore Street. Detwiler was also arrested for OVI as a result of a traffic stop at 2:31 a.m. April 23 at the intersection of Central Avenue and Market Street.
