Van Wert Police

May 23, 1:10 p.m. — Shae Taylor Baker, 19, of 602 S. Harrison St., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence for an incident that occurred at his residence.

May 22, 8:34 a.m. — A local woman reported the theft of an Ohio State University train planter from her residence.

May 22, 1:02 p.m. — A prescription drug bottle was found in the 500 block of South Race Street.

May 22, 1:16 p.m. — The theft of four antique lanterns and a porcelain coffee pot was reported in the 700 block of North Jefferson Street.

May 22, 11:34 a.m. — A tan and rust colored lamp post was reported taken in the 700 block of North Jefferson Street.

May 22, 9:10 p.m. — Todd A. Cleaves was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) and speed as a result of a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Westwood Drive.

May 21, 7:38 a.m. — Scott B. Chesbro, 29, of 366 W. Maple Ave., Apt. C, was charged with felony domestic violence for an incident that occurred at his residence.

May 20, 8:47 p.m. — Jason E. Stevenson, 35, of Delphos, was served with an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court at the Van Wert Police Department.

May 20, 8:20 p.m. — Jason E. Stevenson, 35, of Delphos, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court and turned over to Van Wert police.

May 21, Taft Mangas, 26, of Lima, was charged with driving while under a license suspension as a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Fifth Street.
