Van Wert Police

June 26, 2:49 a.m. — Derek E. Eccard, 24, of Van Wert, was charged with trespassing for being at a residence on John Brown Road when told he wasn’t welcome there.

June 26, 3:57 a.m. — Three teens — Jonathan M. Ehrlich, 18, of 767 Liberty St., and Kory C. Smith, also 18, of 1019 Linden Drive, as well as Nicholas M. Stegaman, 18, of Monroeville, Ind., were charged with underage consumption while near the intersection of Tyler and Darwin streets.

June 26, 8:32 a.m. — A Van Wert resident reported his vehicle was damaged while parked in the 100 block of East Central Avenue.

June 26, 11:03 a.m. — The theft of solar yard lights was reported in the 300 block of South Walnut Street.

June 25, 11:14 a.m. — The theft of solar yard lights was reported at a residence in the 100 block of East Raymond Street.

June 26, 2:33 p.m. — A bike was stolen and another damaged at a residence in the 600 block of West Main Street. The stolen bike was described as a purple girl’s bicycle with a black and white seat and white lettering.

June 25, 5:44 a.m. — A barbecue grill was reported thrown onto the windshield of a minivan in the 1000 block of East Main Street, damaging the window glass.

June 21, 2:41 p.m. — A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at his residence.
