Van Wert Police

July 26, 11:50 a.m. — James D. Ramirez, 21, of 214 Middle St., was arrested and charged with burglary, a second-degree felony offense, in connection with a burglary at 205 S. Wall St.

July 25, 10:12 p.m. — Philip T. Zeeff, 52, of 10396 Sidle Road, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), having an open container of alcohol in a moving vehicle and a marked lanes violation in connection with a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Ervin Road.

January 12 — Randall D. Keller, 51, of 207 S. Wall St., was served with an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court.

Delphos Police

July 27, 4:35 a.m. — Shawna Clark, 34, of Delphos, faces a variety of charges stemming from a traffic stop. Clark was found to be operating a motor vehicle outside the driving privileges she was limited to from a prior licenses suspension. Officers who found probable cause to cite Clark on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) also discovered controlled substances in the vehicle Clark was driving. Additional felony charges are expected to be filed in connection with those substances.

July 27, 7:21 p.m. — Michael Young, 29, of Lima, was cited for driving while under a license suspension following a traffic stop.

July 26, 12:28 p.m. — Police were called to a business in the 600 block of Elida Avenue on a report that someone was trying to pass a check belonging to another person. The case was referred to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
