Van Wert Police

August 11, 8:35 a.m. — Richard P. Bogart, 73, of 1015 E. Main St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court for failing to appear on a trespassing charge. Bogart was also cited for obstructing official business when refused to open the door and officers had to force entry into the residence.

August 11, 8:37 a.m. — A resident of the 400 block of Dickinson Avenue reported that someone had trespassed on her property.

August 11, 12:19 p.m. — A resident of the 100 block of North Harrison Street reported that someone damaged a tire on his vehicle while it was parked at his residence.

August 11, 5 p.m. — Ruth Ann Napier, 19, of Middle Point, was charged with abusing harmful intoxicants in connection with an incident in the 300 block of West Maple Avenue.

August 11, 7:48 p.m. — Scott B. Chesbro, 29, of 300 S. Washington St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued on behalf of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
