Van Wert Police

August 17, 11 p.m. — Three people face charges as a result of an incident at 911 Hughes St. Kasey L. Schisler, 23, and Ryan L. Schisler, 27, both of that address, were each charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Amber Baker, 21, of 513 E. Central Ave., was arrested on a probation violation charge.

August 17, 9:09 p.m. — Rebecca M. Sturwold, 30, of 330 N. Wayne St., admitted that she had been using a drug known, among other things, as “bath salts” and turned the remainder of the substance over to police to be destroyed. No charges have been filed at this time.
