Van Wert Police

October 22, 9:16 p.m. — William Edward Shinnaberry, 19, of 605 Center St., was arrested on a warrant from the Van Wert Sheriff’s Department.

October 22, 1:20 a.m. — Jessica L. Thompson, 25, of 216 W. Maple Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct-persisting after an incident at CJ Sidepockets, 123 N. Washington St.

October 22, 6:55 p.m. — Eric E. Thomas, 27, of 1155-K Bell Ave., was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and cited for a child booster violation and for driving while under a Financial Responsibility Act license suspension.

October 21, 9:01 p.m. — Travis L. Faulkner, 36, of 208 N. Franklin St., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Race Street and Central Avenue.

October 20, 4:13 p.m. — An incident of identity theft was reported by a Van Wert man.

October 19, 9:19 p.m. — A resident of the 600 block of East Main Street reported a burglary at his residence. Taken were a computer and some men’s jewelry.

October 20, 3:03 p.m. — Scott J. Wilkins, 28, of 406 S. Washington St., was arrested for aggravated menacing as a result of an incident that took place at his residence.

October 20, 11:08 a.m. — Tiffany S. Cook, 35, of 335 S. Tyler St., was arrested on a warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court for insufficient funds.

October 18, 12:24 p.m. — Dustin A. Hiser, 28, of Van Wert, was arrested on a warrant issued in Paulding County.

October 17, 9:38 a.m. — A reported was filed about damage done to a sign and other property belonging to Wallace Plumbing, 735 W. Main St.

October 16, 12:47 a.m. — Anna C. Ketcham, 57, of Ottawa, was cited for OVI as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Ervin Road.

October 12, 11:11 p.m. — Alonzo J. Munoz, 18, of 205 N. Race St., was arrested for domestic violence for an incident that allegedly occurred in the 100 block of North Race Street.
