Statewide gives $3,100 to L’view boosters

Statewide Ford Lincoln, Lincolnview High School and members of the community raised $3,100 for Lincolnview’s Booster Club at the test-drive event held October 1 as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive One 4 UR School program.

Area residents test drove Ford and Lincoln vehicles and Statewide and Ford Motor Company donated $20 for every test drive taken, with funds going to the Athletic Booster Club.

Since the program’s inception in 2007, the Drive One 4 UR School program has generated over $7 million in donations for High Schools nationwide.  This was Statewide Ford Lincoln’s fifth event held with benefits for local schools totaling $25,180.  The money raised through the Drive One 4 UR School program has helped ensure that extracurricular activities like sports and music programs continue in local communities despite budgetary constraints and funding cuts.

Statewide Ford Lincoln will continue to hold these creative Drive One 4 UR School fundraising events for Van Wert, Lincolnview and Crestview High Schools while the program is available
